Join us for the NeyNey 5km Cancer Run: A Fundraising Event on November 24, 2023!
We are excited to invite you to participate in a very special event, the NeyNey 5km Cancer Run, scheduled to take place on November 24, 2023. This event aims to support the inspiring journey of Elsunè Fyver, a brave 4-year-old girl who has been fighting brain and bone marrow cancer.
Elsunè, born on July 4, 2019, is the beloved daughter of Daniel and Minette Fyver. She’s a sibling to her nine-year-old sister, Deanette Fyver. At just 13 months old, Elsunè was diagnosed with brain and bone marrow cancer of the spine. Her journey through treatments has been challenging, marked by surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation.
Following her initial treatments and a period of remission, Elsunè faced a relapse last year, leading to the discovery of cancer on the right side of her brain. Subsequent treatments included surgical removal and a series of radiation sessions, followed by further chemotherapy sessions that started in September. Presently, she’s battling through her second round of chemotherapy with remarkable resilience and a heartwarming smile, showcasing her courage and unwavering belief in healing.
